Silver - not sprayed but woven.
At the core of our products lies a high-tech fabric produced exclusively in Switzerland. The manufacturer, a third-generation weaving mill, holds the world record for the thinnest thread. With this knowledge they are able to produce a yarn with a 0.02 mm ultrathin silver wire in the centre. These fine silver wires are then coated in copper and embedded in cotton.

The fabric woven from this yarn works on the principle of Faraday's cage and can shield up to 99.9999% of electromagnetic radiation. Unlike common insulation fabrics using nylon yarn sprayed with silver, our woven silver construction is free from harmful nanoparticles and unmatched in function, quality, and durability.

Mission to rethink the use of this material
The fabric’s first large-scale application was in the military, shielding aircraft and sensitive systems from electromagnetic interference. Yet electromagnetic waves not only power modern technology—they also sustain vital human functions. This raises a simple question: if high-tech shielding can protect military equipment, why not also shield the human body?

The secret lies in the layers
Our research has shown that enclosing the high-tech core in another layer of fabric, further enhances durability. By this technique the distinctive Suiris-Look of the two sided tissues is created. The use of light and dark colours express the idea of harmony, reflecting unity in the eternal dance of duality.
For the outer layer we chose the finest ecological produced, natural fibers to keep the textile breathable. All products are soft and supple. The layered construction gives a luxurious drape and calm, flowing presence.

Crafting
Each piece is designed by the el Patrol art collective and crafted by a small team of women who once worked in the textile industry before production moved overseas. In their own small atelier, they preserve a heritage of skill that has become rare in Europe today. Every piece is manually inspected for functionality.
